West End Baptist Church can trace its roots back to a missionary vision in a private home on Chestnut Street in October 1885. The church has been a valued partner with the Quinpool Road community and beyond since its inception.
Vision and Values
According to the New Testament, the early Church was, at its best, a family that cares for one another (Acts 2:43-47).
At West End Baptist, we strive to model that same concern for each other and for the people of Halifax.
The story of our faith is found in the Bible, which points to Jesus’ death and resurrection as the most important events in history.
As followers of Jesus, it is our goal to tell and live out the good news of God’s love, grace, and forgiveness. More details on our beliefs can be found at http://baptist-atlantic.ca/our-convention/our-beliefs/.
