Christopher has been a part of West End since May of 2006. He began his time as a summer ministry student, and then stayed on after the summer as the Youth Coordinator as he began his studies at Acadia Divinity Collage. Christopher married Meghan May 17th 2008 and their Simeon Reese, their first child was born February 23rd 2009. Christopher completed his training at ADC May 2009.
Christopher tells a brief story of his life;
I grew up outside of Halifax and was active in Bedford Baptist church for most of my life. My family made attending church, and family devotions a priority. My faith deepened as I went from child to youth, and after a period of questioning and struggle my faith truly became my own and not a 'family faith'. Two years after I graduated from High School I went to Mount Saint Vincent University to earn my BA in Sociology & Anthropology with distinction. Yet I left MSVU with more than a degree as I met my future wife during my final year. My time as ADC was an uplifting time and one that I know I will always look back on favourably. Meghan and I married and shortly after we were blessed with our son. When we reflect over our lives we cannot help but see how gracious God has been, ever active in our lives and directing our lives. We are excited to be at West End a community that is so warm and welcoming and has such a heart to minister to the community that surrounds it.
